The Next Chapter Starts Sooner Than You Think

There seems to be a myth out there when it comes to following your soul's calling and it is this - that you have to “just jump” and take a “leap of faith” into your future vision…

Quit the job.

Shut down the business.

Walk away from it all.

While I am all for taking bold steps in the right direction, there is a time and a place for the “burn it down” one and it absolutely does NOT need to be your first step. You’d be surprised at what the universe might align for you once you start with mini-actions.

Think small, consistent shifts.  Let me give you some examples. For my clients who haven’t left corporate yet but know they will “someday”, here are some of the subtle shifts…

  1. A daily coffee walk with phone calls to their professional network (prospecting future clients)

  2. Joining the board of directors of a non-profit organization

  3. Daily writing to self publish a book about a future line of work

  4. Weekly informational interviews with potential mentors who have already launched

These may seem like small moves, but energetically, they’re huge. Each one is a message to the universe—and to yourself—that you are doing this!  You’re not waiting for the perfect moment, but choosing to begin from where you are. And that momentum? It compounds. Whats even better are the synchronicities that will start to show up when you celebrate these small wins (hint: they’ll be even better than you can imagine).  What starts as a weekly call or a side project can snowball into opportunities, connections, and yes—new income streams that eventually do make the leap possible (and a lot less scary).

You don’t have to burn it all down—just begin. The path becomes clear as you walk it. If you’re ready to take your first aligned step but not sure where to start, I’ve created something to help.
